Over the Dish Food Court - Hongdae, Seoul

While walking around in Hongdae, there were these people dressed in a Mickey and Minnie costume that totally looked like a fake handing out leaflet.  They were promoting this underground food court.  I don't know what Mickey and Minnie has to do with it, but at least it got our attention with how ugly their costumes were. We saw that there is naengmyeon in the food court.  I love naengmyeon so, we decided to check it out.  The layout of the food court is really chic and stylish.  It was also pretty empty too.  Maybe it wasn't lunch time yet? I am not sure.  There were thai food, western food, chinese food, korean food etc.  There's even a Gong Cha (bubble tea).  Gong Cha is amazing, it's everywhere all over the world.  Or at least it's in many cities in Asia.

We decided we will go for Korean food!  This vendor sells naengmyeon set for 5,500 won!  You can a pretty big bowl of naengmyeon that I won't be able to finish on my own and 2 huge mandu!  These are 2 of my favorite Korean food.

Both the chewy noodle and the huge mandu are delicious.  Love how the noodle wasn't too spicy.  Lots of flavor.  I love how Koreans have shredded pears in their cold noodle.  It's just such a great combination of flavors.

We got it from this place:

We also got a ramen tteokbokki and a spicy pork kimbap.  These 2 items cost 9,800 won.  Totally a rip off compared to the naengmyeon and mandu set~  We got it here:

One sip of this ramen tteokbokki and you are on fire! I really don't know how Koreans do it!  The girl sitting at a table next to ours ate the same ramen tteokbokki like it wasn't spicy at all!  Koreans' tolerance for spiciness is at god level!

This spicy pork kimbap was also super spicy.  So spicy that I really couldn't tell what it tasted like.  If I had to eat it with my eyes closed, I would't know what I was eating.  It's just too spicy!

This is what the outside of the place looks like.  It's underground.  I guess it's a nice choice to grab a quick meal!
