It was April. Last vacation before the summer heat hit. I hate summer, hate the heat. So, I had to go on a last vacation before it's too hot to go outside. This time, I went to Fukuoka, Japan. I don't think I've ever been to Fukuoka before. This time I went in a group of 4 (including me). Luckily, I found a place on airbnb that can fit us all. Very spacious. It was just like how the picture showed on the airbnb listing.
The apartment is about 5 to 8 minutes walk from Ohorikoen Station. I thought I could handle the walk, but I realized it's quite a tough walk when you have large heavy luggages to hull around. My arms were going to break while trying to reach here from Ohorikoen Station.
Fortunately, airport in Fukuoka is really close to the city. From the airport station to Ohorikoen, it was only about 20 min. Ohorikoen Station is just 2 stops from Tenjin, where all the shopping and food are. Ohorikoen is a little quieter, near the Fukuoka Castle. I like this area a lot, too bad the apartment isn't closer to the station.
There are 2 beds, 1 foldable bed and a sofa bed.
There's a kitchen, but no stove.....only a toaster and a microwave.
