Day 5: うどん - Fukuoka, Japan

Eating at multiple restaurants for each meal was our goal for the trip~  We were proud to be checking off different food on our bucket list for the trip.  This time, we came to an udon noodle shop at Nishijin Station~  Just outside of exit 6.  It's 24 hours~  Reminds me of fast food chain, but it taste a lot better.

Love how the menu is full of pictures.  So, we can save our brain juice from studying it.  It always take us forever when there are no pictures.  Finally, google translate can rest for a while for this meal.

With ordered mentaiko with udon~  Yummy!  Love the mixture of green onion, seaweed soft boiled egg, mentaiko and chewy udon.  I am surprised at how much mentaiko they gave us.  So generous.

Then we also ordered the vegetable tempura with soup udon.  Such a big portion.  We only ordered 2 dishes for the 4 of us as we were going to eat at another restaurants after this.  We were trying so hard to refrain ourselves from ordering more.

This udon noodle is just outside of exit 6 at Nishijin Station.
