On the 4th day of my Taiwan trip, I took the high speed rail from Taichung to Taipei. In less than an hour's time, I was already in Taipei! So convenient! I booked a boutique hotel in the heart of Ximending, which is just 1 station from Taipei Main Station (the station where the highspeed rail is at). Super convenient for me to reach to~ The little hotel is about 1 minute walk from Ximen Station exit 6. Apparently, there's a different theme for each room. The room I stayed at has a butterfly theme! The hotel is new. I think it open around October 2015. So, the inside is still very new and clean.
There's even a bath tub. But I never use bath tubs in hotel. I am paranoid of the cleanliness of bathrooms in hotel. What if the people who used it before has some sort of contagious skin disease? No matter how I think about it, I still just can't let myself soak in a public bath tub, unless it's a chlorine filled swimming pool...which is like a giant bath tub.
This is the hall way in the hotel.
The lounging/waiting area at the lobby. They have coffee and a computer there for people t use.
To get up to the hotel, we took these elevators that looked more like they were for industrial use. It's dark, dirty, smelly.
Entrance to the building.....totally doesn't match the hotel....
