Day 2: Flower Bed in Olympic Park - Seoul, South Korea

We have been scrolling through IG and FB to see what's there to do and see in Seoul since we have been visiting too often.  We want to go to places other than Hongdae and Myeongdong and we are done shopping for skincare/makeup....from previous trips to Seoul.  Afterall, it was already the 3rd or 4th time to Seoul for Cho in the year of 2017.  Yes, crazy.  However, she was there for work previously.

Came across pictures of a yellow/orange flower bed someone in the internet and said it was blooming during the days that we were in Seoul.  Olympic Park wasn't too far, so we just had to go.  The only thing is that Olympic Park is huge and the internet didn't say where the flower bed is in the park.  At least I was not able to find any English website telling us where this flower bed was.  We ended up wandering around under the burning sun and showing passerby the picture of the flower bed hoping they would know where in the park it is.

We were lucky.  Two ladies recognized the location and it is actually just a pretty small patch of flower patch next to a parking lot.  By saying "small", it's would be huge for people in Hong Kong, as I saw people taking red maple tree leaves in a park...where there were only 2 or 3 maple trees.  So, in comparison, this is huge for many Hong Kongers.  The pictures are basically the entire flower patch.  Lots of people were there.  We visited mid September when it was blooming.

One side of the flower patch is purple / pink flowers and there weren't a lot of people here.  The flowers on this side isn't as dense and bright.  Doesn't look as amazing in pictures.  Just go up the hill and pass the little resting spot and it would be the yellow flower patch.

At the little resting spot, there are some sort of veggie growing.  Too many people there that day, no place for us to sit around.

So, on the other side of the resting spot is this beautiful yellow/orange flower patch.

So, this is the entire yellow flower bed.  Not huge, not too tiny.  Most of the selfie whores (including) us were here taking our time to take thousands of amazing photos.

This flower patch right next to the rose garden in Olympic Park, which should be at point V in Places Part 3 in the map below:
