Day 6: Paintings on wall at Ihwa-dong Mural Village - Seoul

Been wanted to visit Ihwa-dong Mural Village since the first time I went to Seoul, but never had the chance as we were always occupied with other things to do.  Finally, I got a chance to see the place and totally regretted it.  There really are that many paintings to look at.  The paintings are scattered quite far apart.  Nonetheless, at least I got this place checked off on my list of things to do in Seoul.  There were lots of steep tiny stairs going up hill.  Not a fun easy walk, especially when the painting didn't give you any "wow" effect.  I see people say that many of the paintings have been covered up as too many tourist were going there for pictures and disturbed the local residents.  So, people there just painted over the drawings, so people would stop going.  Maybe that's why the paintings were so scattered?

Anyways, I much prefer the Fairytale Village in Incheon if it is to take pictures of paintings on the wall.  Anyways, here are some pictures of Ihwa-dong Mural Village.

Ihwa-dong Mural Village is at point l in Places Part 4 on the map below:
