Day 1: Is Siam@Siam really worth the 4.5 stars on Expedia? Bangkok, Thailand

Looked through Expedia to look for the best value for price hotel in Bangkok.  We thought we landed on a jewel when we found Siam@Siam.  The pictures look nice.

Excited to relax at Siam@Siam, we flew off to Bangkok~

The hotel is actually quite old and worn out.  Many scratches on the furnishing.  From afar, it looks alright.

The washroom is quite old fashion and ugly though.  Not very bright, giving off a dirty vibe.

When you look up close, you can see it's quite dirty.  Black moldy looking stains around the sink and counter top.  Also very dusty.  We had to wipe down the top before we put anything down.

Aside from the dirt, the rest of the hotel is pretty nice.  But then the inside isn't very bright, not good for photos.

The pool is small but pretty.

It was a 4.5 star for Siam@Siam Bangkok when I search on Expedia.  However, after seeing the actual place, I feel it's really just worth a 3 star at most.  Too old and dirty.

Siam@Siam Bangkok is at point P in Places Part 1 on the map below:
