The only place we could get our kite to fly - Garry Point Park - Vancouver

We were at QE Park, Vanier Park and Fraser River Park, but our kite could not fly in any of those parks.  Googled on "Where to fly a kite in Vancouver?" and found the top result to be Garry Point Park.

We suddenly got the idea of flying a kite and drove all the way to Walmart to get a $3 kite.  Don't know if it's because it's too cheap or what, but it won't fly properly and even if it did, it couldn't stay up long in other parks that we tried.  We were actually quite far from Garry Point Park, but we were just too fed up on failing and drove all the way there to fulfill our goal of the day.  

Garry Point Park never fail in bring the kite up~  Not to mention what a beautiful place to fly one.
