Tonight's dinner! Grandpa burger from A&W! I know I know! It's just fast food, nothing special about it. However, I have seen this Grandpa burger for years, but never went to challenge myself to give it a try, since I most likely won't be able to finish the burger with 3 beef patties.
Finally went to this place with Cho. We got the Grandpa Burger combo with sweet potato fries~ At first when we looked at the menu, we thought they don't have Grandpa Burger anymore as the biggest burger they have is Papa Burger, which is 2 beef patties. We then ask the cashier if they still have Grandpa Burger. So, you'll need to ask if they have it or not.
Look at the thickness of the beef patties. Juicy! Oily! Beefy! OK, this pic doesn't look too nice. I was too rough with it trying to take a pic of the 3 patties. It tastes better than it looks.
I could feel the oil and calories running down my throat....felt very guilty about it. But hey, it's not like I do this everyday. It's the first time in my life to have a burger with so much meat and oil in it. A&W tastes so much better than McDonald's. Why doesn't Hong Kong have A&W? I heard that they have a Monster Burger at A&W, which is a burger with 6 beef patties....I thought of challenging myself with that. Fortunately, I dropped the idea. I could only finish half the Grandpa Burger. Gave the other half to Cho.
Anyone tried the Monster Burger before? Does it feel like you have clogged up every single arteries and veins with fat after eating it? Does it feel gross?
With the Grandpa Burger crossed out, there are only 8 items left~
