Fancy brunch, cat cafe and Novotel on Siam Square - Bangkok, Thailand
Love that there are plenty of pretty cafes and restaurants in Bangkok. So many white people food that's delicious to our mouth and eyes.
Went to Fran's (Eat 2) for brunch and love how chill the place is. There were so many things we want to choose on the menu.
Started off with a watermelon salad. First time having watermelon in a savory dish and surprising delicious and refreshing.
Then we go their IG famous bacon and egg toast. Super thick bacon.
Shakshuka was good too.
Love the pancake tower.
Then went to Asok Pethouse Cat Cafe (Eat 3) for some cakes and lots of cat time. Their cakes are pretty pretty. The cafe serves as a foster home and has help hundreds of cats find new permanent homes.
Then we moved from our first hotel The Key to Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square (Stay 2). Much nicer hotel and in the heart of Siam. Love the location. Lots of shopping and nice restaurants. Many review says the place has a sewage smell and that it's old and run down. First of all, no funky smell at all. It is kinda old and has scratches here and there, but it's not a 5 star hotel and not super expensive. So, the scratch and tear is acceptable.
It's basically right next to Siam Paragon and Central World. So, just minutes walk away from dozens of restaurants with good air conditioning.
