Time for a trip to Bangkok!

Flights to Bangkok is too affordable and it's been years since we last went. Time to see what's new in Bangkok.

Flew the day right after the earthquake, so the flight was half empty as many people cancelled their flight, scared of more after quake.

So convenient with Grab. And too affordable to pass.

Order a taxi through Grab and it was much easier than I thought to tag the spot to board, since they already have a designated point with a big flag outside the airport.

Get to sit in air conditioned car without the crowd.

First hotel we stayed at was The Key (Stay 1) which is just a few minutes walk from Terminal 21. A small hotel that is only a few storey high, which we were quite relieved, since some of the taller buildings had big cracks after the earthquake from the day before. No visible sign of damage at The Key.

But it's a small small small hotel. I don't even know if it should be called a hotel. Quite old too. Has a funky smell.

On the day I arrived, there was a Care Bear meet and greet at Terminal 21 (Shop 1). An old mall, but still a lot of people. Not very fancy though. Actually feels a little run down, but has a pretty big food court with prices surprisingly low. Thought food court in a mall would be pricier.

Although April is supposed to be the hottest time of the year in Bangkok, but since it's quite dry there, it felt cooler than Hong Kong. Felt comfortable to walk outdoor at night. Didn't die from the heat.

Near Terminal 21 is a little restaurant call Pala Pizza Romana & Bistrot (Eat 1). Lots of Foreigners. Yummy white people food.

Cheesy lagsana.

Although I was full already, just had to go to a 7-11 for some late night snack. Actually, was just curious what kind of food we can get in a convenient store.

Got a cute Butter Bear milk...too sweet. Didn't like.
