Too blue nails

After seeing the wonderful results Chi had with her pleated nails I really want to try it for myself. However, I really can't say that I had the same success. The pleat technique is not easy to master. I think the hardest part is timing when the right time is to pressing the lines into the semi dry polish. Too soon it will ruin the finish, too  late it will not make an impression.

Chi and I were also complain how it is suddenly so hard to make a crease / line on to the nail when we try to do it deliberately, but is so effortless when we accidentally brush our hair against our nails and then our nails are ruined!!!!!!!!!!

If there are some times I should like to change about my design is that I think there is too much blue, hence the name. I feel like I needed more contrast, but I will remember for next time :)
For next time I will also not try to cut my cuticles... I hear it over and over again that I am not suppose to, but those thick hard cuticles just drive me crazy so I cut them.... and then I end up cutting myself. You can see my boo boo on my pinky. It was painful!

    1. Hehe I love it when ppl ask questions in the comments :)
I got the circle glitter from a sequin shop, since it is super cheap and they sell by the pound, but I see it in dollar stores as well. Good luck :)
