Graffiti Nail Art
I bought this nail art pen set for around 2 months before I finally decided to open it and play with it because it seemed like a very complicated task. Although I can't say that it was really easy to use, I can say that it isn't too hard to use and is not 100% impossible to do by yourself.
The lines that I were made by these pens were a little thicker than I would have liked so I used a black striper polish to give it the illusion of the sharp edges.
Another thing that prevented me from opening up these goodies was that I was worried that the pens being felt tips would dry up really quickly once I open them and the dried nail polish will clog up the felt tip then it would all be a waste. But to my surprise the ink that comes out of these nail art pens are not really nail polish.... they are water based (I know this because I went to take a shower before I put on my top coat and it all washed away..... sad I know)
So I assume that, since they are water based, they shouldn't clog up.
Over all I do like them :) and I will continue to use them.

ReplyDeleteI agree,
DeleteI was a little unsure about the colors when I first opened the package, but it all turns out to be quite nice

What? All of your hard work washed away?! *boohoo*
ReplyDeletePretty much :(
DeleteThere were only light hints of the colors left and also my black outlines
cho
you made it so beautyful and cheerfull :D
ReplyDeleteThanks thanks :)
DeleteSo cute! Love the designs, especially the cross.
ReplyDeleteThanks Thanks
DeleteThe cross was the nail I had the most difficulty with because everything needed to be parallel, but I am glad you like it

I could never pull off such designs; my hand would shake too much. What a bummer that your hard work washed away in the shower! I would have been so sad! :(
ReplyDeletemy hands used to shake a lot too, but now I try to keep part of my hand rested on a sturdy surface which helped me a lot.
DeleteYou can give that a try :) :)
But yes, it all washed off :( sad
cho
Lovely! Would love to try that if I were still a lady. Can't do that now as I have a child now. I bet the nail polish will be put to waste! :)
ReplyDeleteNo one ever put a rule saying that mom's can't have pretty nails, although I would understand that it might be harder to do all the crazy designs.
DeleteWith being a mom it is important to take care of yourself too!!!! Cheers
cho
I love the star! I wish i had steady hands like yours! Too bad it got washed away! :(
ReplyDeleteI strongly recommend resting both hands on a sturdy surface while doing this, since it would help keep shaky hands steady.
DeleteThat is how I got around it :p
Cheers

your nail arts are always so pretty :) i can never have steady enough hands to do what you did
ReplyDeleteHehehe I don't actually have steady hands. I always have to rest both my hands on something to make a straight line :)
DeleteThis is such a beautiful idea! Would never be able to do it :D

ReplyDeleteNice manicure. :) Too bad that these pens are water based.
ReplyDeletenice work!! too bad its water based..so you have to make another design..i just want to ask...what if you put a top coat on top? just curious..I wanna get that set! ♥
ReplyDeleteA top coat would fix that problem. But I was lazy that day and I didn't realize :(
DeleteSuch amazing colors & prints - Love these. So fun & eye-catching! <3
ReplyDeleteI'm not good at putting nail polish on my nails. I still need more practice. :(
