Toy Story Water Decal Nail Art Part 2
It's my second attempt to use this water decal. I recommend this decal for people with smaller finger nails. My nails are too big. Looks kind of empty with these decal.
This is what the water decal looks like.
You can get these water decal at:
I cut out the images I want and removed the clear plastic film on top.
Then I painted the base colors with onl today DD No 2 (pink), Givenchy 144 XMAS PEARLS (shimmery white) and Holika Holika #31 (yellow) and wait for the base color to completely dry.
Next I soak the image in a bowl of water for about 5 seconds.
The image will slide off. I find this particular decal really thin. It's good that it's thin as it will blend in with your manicure very well. The down point is that it is harder to control. If you peel off the image with a tweezer, the thin decal will easily fold on itself.
I suggest taking 1 image at a time when soaking. When the image is ready to come off, with a tweezer, slide and flip the image onto the wet paper that it comes with. Now that the back is facing upward, take the wet paper along with the flipped image and place it on your nail. The image will stick onto ur nail, then gently remove the wet paper. By doing it this way, the image won't fold on itself and it will be easier to control the placement of the image.
I hope I explained it clearly. It's kind of hard to explain without a picture...
Here are some more pictures.
