Kung Fu Dim Dum @ Hong Kong

Went for some late night dim sum snack at 10pm.  I went to Kung Fu Dim Sum in Sham Shui Po. I feel so guilty after eating.  All these fatty dim sum!  There have been many little dim sum outlets lately.  One thing I like about them is that you can get a seat and your food pretty quickly, unlike the traditional Chinese restaurants where you have to wait for a seat for hours!  I don't understand why many Chinese like lining up for dim sum for hours and then sit there for another 3 hours reading newspaper instead of eating.  Can't they just read their newspaper at home? Weird....

Anyways, the food looks pretty good, right?  Well, you know what? It's a lie.  They are pretty bad.

The rice roll wasn't thoroughly cooked.
The turnip cake falls apart too easily.
The 2 types of shrimp dumplings are fine.

The deep fried dumpling is normal. Hot and crispy.
I don't beef balls, so I don't know.
The crab siu long bau was horrible!  Smelled / tasted like rotten fish/crabs.  Maybe I am just not a crab fan?
The siu mai also bad.  Can't believe they can make the most common dim sum so bad.
I love their cute little order sheet / menu though!  It's designed like a Kung Fu book.

We ordered 8 items and it comes to HKD$157.

Address: G/F, 72 Fuk Wing Street, Sham Shui Po
