Houndstooth Water Decal Nail Art YU089

I've been doing a lot of cartoony childish nails.  Now, for something a tiny little bit more sophisticate, lets do one with a houndstooth pattern.

This is water decal in style YU089.  This sheet has way too much images on them that will last me a few manicures.

Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat

So, first I painted 2 coats of the base color.  These two are my favorite color at the moment!

After everything is dried, cut out the image you want to use and remove the clear film on top.

Soak the image in a bowl of room temperature water for about 5 seconds.

The image will slide right off.  For this water decal, it's semi transparent.  So, You must use it on a light base color or on similar color family for this decal to show up properly.

Then just arrange the decal on your nails and apply top coat to seal in the design.

This is a super simple nail art.  Almost to the point of being boring.  However, it's nice to have something simple once in a while.
