The War Memorial of Korea @ Seoul
I spent a day alone on my Seoul trip waiting for my friends to fly in to join me. I didn't know where to go so I decided to head to the War Memorial Museum and hopefully learn some history.
This place is super huge! There's everything about war here, from super ancient war history to recent ones.
For some of the tanks and ships, you can go on it to take a look at the inside. You will see lots of bullet holes on the ships. Probably a bunch of people died on it during the war.
I like how there aren't a lot of people here. Most of the people here are locals, so no pushing with other tourists. Many of the people here came in a group with their school, it's obviously a very educational place.
The main building is really super huge. If it's a super hot summer or a super cold winter, this would be a great place to spend the day. You can learn something while having lots of moments for selfies!
Honestly, I didn't learn anything here. I was too lazy to read anything on display. I mainly took lots of selfies with the different theme rooms and I had a lot of fun doing that. I am just not a history person. I practically failed all my history classes in high school. I am not good with memorizing. However, it is interesting to look at the clothes, weapons and cities in ancient times, and that what I came here for.
Oh yah, this place is free admission!
