Day 1: 一中商圈 Yizhong Market - Taichung, Taiwan
Near 台灣香蕉新樂園 Xiang Jiao Xin Le Yuan, is Yizhong Market! We walked about 10 minute to reach Yizhong Market. Due too our crazy photo taking at Xiang Jiao Xin Le Yuan, the sky was dark.
There are many clothing shops and food stalls selling interesting food.
This shops says Hong Kong Siu Mai, but their color dim sum is something I've never seen in Hong Kong. Looked interesting, but I didn't get any as I was there for Taiwanese food!
Came to the crossroad of Yucai St where it was the busiest! It was so crowded that I barely had any room to stand.
Got some stinky tofu after seeing a huge line up. It wasn't very stinky at all, but sure tasted delicious! The portion is so big. This is just 1 portion.
Exploading squid?
Got attracted by the name of the stall and got the giant deep fried squid. I was already super full.
Then there were some clothing shops at a very low price. I didn't get anything though. I am too fat/big to get these free-size clothes.....
Lots of little shops selling cute stationary, which I don't use at all.
Then there is this guava shop. They chopped it up for us and sold for NT$50 a bag. I think it would be a similar price to if I get a guava in Hong Kong, but still, we ate a bunch. Mainly because we liked the name of this stall.
