Day 1: Airbnb Stay in Hongdae - Seoul, South Korea

I don't know how many times we have traveled to Seoul now.  We made another trip to Seoul for Halloween in 2016.  Booked a studio on Airbnb in my favorite building in Hongdae.  The building right next to exit 3~

The 4 of us stayed here.  There's a small kitchen, 2 queen beds, a decent bathroom.  A lot cheaper than hotel~

We have tried staying in other buildings/locations in Hongdae, but find this particular building the best.  I don't have a picture of the building, just print screen from google map.   There is a currency exchange shop inside the building, a 24 hour convenience store, and a 24 hour cafe.  The Hongik University Station exit 3 is connected to the building with escalator going up.  What more can I ask for.  5 minute walk to the heart of Hongdae area.  I can shop nonstop and drop my bags of goods back into the studio without wasting much time.  The only thing Cho complains about this building is the 5 min walk to exit 9 of Hongik University Station.  That to me, is really just because she is too lazy to walk that 5 minutes. Well, if you are drunk at 3 or 4am in the morning after all the partying in Hongdae, the 5 min walk can be tough....

Can't compare it to a hotel.  But this place is sooooo close to the shopping and restaurants and city center, but a fraction of the $ for a hotel room.  Most importantly, the studio has a small kitchen for me to cook if I want to and big enough for 4 people.  We have room to open all our luggage at once.  Something we really can't do in a hotel unless we pay a lot of money for a suite.
