Day 8: Movie in Kyungsung University area - Busan, South Korea

After leaving the museum, we were running out of ideas of where to go.  So, we decided to watch a movie.  We found a theatre nearby.  We were surprised there would be a theatre nearby the Busan Museum where it is a pretty old part of the city.  We expected the theatre to be pretty run down in an old part of the city.  It was a 20 minute walk from Busan Museum.  We couldn't have taken the subway, but the walk to the subway was already 10 minutes.  So, we just walked to CGV where the movie theatre is.  Turns out it's a university area.  And when there's a university, there are kids.  And when there are kids, there are shops and restaurants and parties!  Why no one mentioned this area on the internet?  At least this place didn't pop up when I typed in "things to do in Busan" in google.

There were many shops that I would find in Seoul.

The place reminded me of Hongdae.  A quieter Hongdae.  Didn't see much bars and clubs though.

Thought this is a very chic cool looking cafe~

Then there's Neverland where it's a shop for claw machines to win dolls.  Just as the name of the shop suggests, you'll NEVER win a toy from them~  At least we didn't...

There are some clothing shops, not much.  It's a younger area like Hongdae, but there aren't a lot of shops, bars and clubs here.  Or maybe I just didn't walked onto the correct street?

There are so many restaurants here.  And lots of young people too.

Decided that it's hotpot time again before the movie.  We ordered the set for 2 people.

And the pot came...it sure doesn't look like a pot for 2.  More like for 4....

The CGV theater is at point Z, street with lots of restaurant is at point a in the list Places Part 1 on the map below:
