Day 4: Cat Cafe in Hongdae - Seoul, South Korea

Came across a cat cafe in Hongdae and we have grew to really love cats, so we decided to check it out. Just get a drink and you can get in to play with the kitties inside. Can't expect the drinks to be really good as the food and drinks aren't the main point there.

There is no time limit and free wifi. So, you can just get a drink and chill there for the rest of the day.

There were a lot of cats there. Maybe around 10-20? Didn't count. I was quite disappointed in the place. Compare to the Meerkat cafe, this one is not very well kept. Maybe it's too old? Just not very clean. The staff didn't seem to be as caring to the animals as the staffs in Meerkat Cafe. Although the signs said do not feed the cats, there were still people doing so. They seem to have gotten the snacks from the staff? They keep feeding the cats even when one of them started puking. The staff came to clean it up but didn't take the puking kitty away and continued to let other customers to feed it. Felt bad for the animals here.

Can't see very clearly here, but the cats weren't very clean. Lots of gunk around their eyes. One of them could barely keep its eyes open. Not a very happy experience in this cafe. Saddening to see the cats live this way.
