Lanikai Beach - Honolulu, Hawaii

The Lanikai Beach sure has white and finer sand than the Hanauma Bay!  It still somewhat close to the Waikiki Beach area too.  It's about a 30 minute drive~  It was kind of cloudy with occasional shower on the day we went.  So, I guess that's why not many people were at the beach.  Well, also because we went there pretty late in the afternoon since we were to Hanauma Bay first.

The water wasn't very clear but it was definitely less murky than when we were at Hanauma Bay.

It was raining a bit and people were starting to leave, but a little rain won't stop us!

We bot our pretty beach tower or whatever that should be called and we've got our big angel float.  Good thing about renting a car for the day is that we can really just bring a lot of random shit.

Since people were starting to leave, we can have most of the beach to ourselves~  I love quiet beaches.

Sooo cloudy.

A bad thing about this beach is that there are no showers....It looks nice and all...but with out a shower, we had sand all over us.  Hard to get it off and that just messed up the car.

The drive back to the hotel was amazing too.  Looked like a scene I would find in Jurassic Park.

Just after we left the beach, it was really starting to rain~  Lucky that we at least get to enjoy a couple hours of rain free moment at Lanikai.
