Cheung Chau - Hong Kong

Got tired of the busy city of Hong Kong and took the ferry to head to a nearby island about 40minutes away from Central to Cheung Chau.  Can't believe I've been to Hong Kong for many years but never visited Cheung Chau before.  Turns out it feels just like New Territories though.  Nothing too exciting there, but definitely less people.

Lots of sourvenir of their signature bun at various shops.

A pretty nice view of the pier.  A calm nice stroll around the area.

Popsicle?  Just seems weird.  Do people really buy and eat them?

Also a temple to pray for some good luck.

Lots of school field trips here.  But no one went into the water.  I guess the water just isn't good enough to be swimming in?
