Staying at Centara Grand - Bangkok

Flew to Bangkok a while back after seeing the temperature will drop in Thailand.  The temp was said to drop around 20 degree celsius.  Definitely a time for me to go there since I wanted to check out some of their temples, which is not possible for me if the temp is 30+ degree.

From our previous experience, it is just better to stay within the central area where everything we want to eat, see and buy is within 5 minutes walk.  Centara Grand is not the newest and prettiest hotel, but it's definitely a lot better than Siam Siam that we stayed at the previous time.  This is a real hotel....Siam Siam.....borderline hotel.....in my opinion.

When we arrived, the temperature was just perfect!  Not hot not cold.  Totally comfortable to stay outdoor without sweating all over.  It was almost Christmas when we went.

The room was quite nice and big.  It does have the old hotel smell, but bearable.  It was very clean though.

Nice big tub with the toilet and shower separated at the back.  Nice tub, but we didn't use.

A pretty big area for putting on make up, but a little too dim.  So, we end up not using the area.

Got a nice view looking out to Big C and The Market.
