Teamlab and Shop in Futian - Shenzhen, China

Loved the Teamlab experience I had in Macau and was excited to see another Teamlab in Shenzhen Futian area.  Decided to spend the day in Futian to check out what other chill places are there.

Started off at Eleatery (Eat 25), a highly rated cafe/bistro near Chegongmiao Station.  Turns out it's just a small cafe below a residential area.  So, quite a few kids running around and many locals in their home outfits walking around.  The place is quite crowded.  Not those fancy quiet type.  Managed to get a table outside.

Honestly, I feel the place is overrated.  It's not bad, but just not comfortable to eat in.  Too many people.  The food is so-so.  So, not worth going there specially for the food or ambience.

The coffee and drinks are ok.  I got myself a latte as usual.  Very mild in terms of the flavor.

Yam fries was normal.  

The hollandaise sauce on the crab meat egg benedict taste different.  It's not bad, but just not what I expected. 

Chicken over rice was nice.  The veggies tastes better than the chicken though.

250 CNY for brunch.

Then we walked over to Xiangmi Park 香蜜公园 (See 15).  A big park with many families enjoying the blooming roses.  The lake park reminds me of Central Park in  New York, with the high rise towers at the back.

Miniso is almost in every mall.  Loving this one with so many Barbie products.  Each outlet carry different products, forcing me to walk into one to see if I missed anything in others.

Next destination is the futuristic mall C Future City 中洲湾 (Shop 21).  Really pretty.  Not a luxury mall, but has many fun shops for guys and girls.

There are quite a few shop for the guys.  MMC, carrying a lot of figures and clothes for young people.  Expensive toys.

Then there is a shop call Bait...which totally is a bait to trap men inside.

After 7pm, entry to Teamlab on the 3/f floor is only 79CNY.  Seem to be even cheaper if tickets bought on klook.  But it's not too bad to just walk in as well.  This is a relatively small exhibition compared to the one in Macau.  But for the price and with so little people, it's fun to enjoy for an hour or two.  We could run around, use all the facilities inside without queuing up and no one to bump into.

We could color our own animal, scan and it will show up in the room on the wall and floor.  Can smash them by hovering over them.

Also a room to color our own trucks or city and it will show up on screen.

No one to fight for the slide with.  Go down in any way we wanted.

No crazy kids kicking the colorful interactive balls like in Macau.  We could peacefully take pictures and play with the interactive eggs at our own pace.

Ended the night with dinner at So Soul that's in C Future City.  Yummy and not pricey.  It's a whiskey and shisha bar.  Expensive alcohol and shisha, but cheap food.

Got a pasta.  Al dente~
