Bei Cang & The Ring - Chongqing

One of the touristy district in Chongqing is Beicang (See 1). A trendy artsy area.

Lots of little coffee shops. There’s art galleries too. We had a walk in the area, took some pictures and had some snack at a bakery. I needed some white people food.

Found a shop that sells press on nails. Not cheap compared to the local living standards. 100 to 200 CNY per set. However, they helped put them on for us as we.

There is a photo spot almost at ever corner. The people there love taking selfies.

There was a little market selling handcrafted items. Can’t say That it is worth going, but if there’s nothing to do, This place can kill some time.

We were too bored and headed to a bigger mall call 重庆光环购物公园 (Shop 1). It’s a huge mall that I can immediately tell the washrooms are clean. Clean washrooms are not easy to find. Especially toilets that are upright instead of just a hole on the floor.

I was so happy to see a legit bakery. Immediately went into have some food and a coffee and stock up on bread for the next day. Since I don’t know if I will be able to find food that I can eat the next day. The food in Chongqing is just too spicy and too oily. I also don’t like the smell. So seeing a bakery is like seeing heaven.

In the middle of this wall, there is a forest. A lot of people come here just for the photos at this little forest.

My friends love spicy food. So another dinner to torture my stomach. Chongqing Hot pot.

Although it is a hot pot with spicy and non-spicy soup, when the soup boils, the spicy oil will spill into the non-spicy side. Making the whole thing spicy.
