They say it's the best fish and chips in Vancouver. At least it's what the menu in the shop said. We were in downtown walking around and the smell of fish and chips just lured us into this shop....just after we had a Fatburger. We were stuffed at the moment already, but still couldn't help but to have some fish and chips.
We ordered Cod and Chips~ and a small C-Food Chowder.
Cho likes how the Cod is thinly battered, so it's not like we were eating just the batter instead of the fish. I still think there is too much batter though as the cod is a thin strip, so it seems there are more batter than it really should compared to the size of the piece of piece inside.
The chowder looked like it would smell very disgustingly fishy, but it's actually not. Pretty good. Not the type I like though. I like creamy chowder soup.
Anyways, both Cho and I hate fish. We never eat fish! hehehe, but we just had fish and chips with fish chowder soup... So, we can assure you that there is no disgusting fishy smell in the food here. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Some people eat fish for that fishy smell....
C-Lovers Fish & Chips at point X in the list "Places Part 1" on the map.
