Day 2: 薰衣草森 Lavender Cottage - Taichung, Taiwan
Our hired cab driver took us to the Lavender Cottage after leaving Rainbow Village. To be honest, I am quite disappointed by this place. At least I feel it's not worth the 1+ hour ride here.
The place is rather small with props here and there for photo taking, but nothing that has a "wow" effect. They have some cafes for you to sit down and relax as well.
Some souvenir bubbles.
The place is in the middle of nowhere, so you can to breathe some fresh air and be surrounded by trees.
At the top of the hill, there is a wishing tree~ People hanging their wishes around it.
You might want to know where is the lavender field? Well, that is very disappointing. The so call "field" is actually smaller than my backyard. So, if you were thinking of coming here to take selfies in the middle of a purple lavender field, it's not going to happen.
This is the hill with the lavenders. Not very big.
From afar, this is the slanted field of lavender...
There is also a Merry-Go-Around there. Amused that they manage to put a merry-go-around in the middle of no where.
It's a good place for a leisure stroll, but if you are in a rush, don't come here. It's not worth it.
You can find the Lavender Cottage at point G in the list Places Part 1 on the map below:
