Day 3: Movies at 華威影城 (Wovies) - SOGO - Taichung, Taiwan

What's good to do on a rainy day in Taichung?  I was wandering around Taichung the whole day and finally decided to just settle for a move, and I am glad I did.  Never knew watching a movie in Taichung would be such a great experience.  Well, maybe I am just outdated...it's the first time I went to a movie where I get to sit on a couch in a theater that isn't jam packed with people.  There were only around 20-30 couches in the theater.  I think I paid somewhere around HK$250 for 2 tickets, with a snack combo that comes with a hot dog, popcorn, 2 drinks and oreo cookies.  And I was sitting a on comfy couch in a spacious theater!  For the same price, I can only get 2 tickets in Hong Kong....  Thinking about it....makes me so sad.  Things in Hong Kong are so expensive and the quality isn't so great.  No matter how hard people work and earn in Hong Kong, it's never enough.

Anyways, this is the outside of Sogo, screen shot from google map.  It' just a quick 10 minutes walk from the CMP Block Museum of Arts~

Although the movie tickets combo came with hot dog and all, I actually ate before the movies at the food court in Sogo...nonstop eating for me.

I also got a little plush coin purse in the shape of a shiba inu~ To match my little Marley~
