Drunken Pot @ Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

When I think of Chinese food, hot pot always come to mind.  One of our new favorite hot pot place is Drunken Pot at Tsim Sha Tsui.  They have another outlet in Causeway Bay, but I am usually lazy to go across the harbour.  So, Tsim Sha Tsui is the perfect location.

Now only is the food here fresh and yummy, the entire place is instagram worthy.  One bird 2 stones.  A great place for camera whore like us while satisfying our stomach.  We have been there a few times.  First we chose the five soup pot.  Yes, a pot with 5 different slots for 5 different soups.  That is already something worth being on my IG.  There is the beef brisket flavor, Sichuan spicy soup, lobster soup, satay soup and the flaming papaya and shrimp soup in the middle.  

Each soup base is really rich.  I really love how the flavor of each soup base stay rich even after water is being add to it after it starts to dry up.

The interior of the restaurant is very modern with an oriental touch.  I don't know if it is because it was a black rain storm warning on the day I went, but the restaurants was rather empty.  It would probably be more busy on other days.  

Even their menu are nicely designed.  Love eating in a pretty place.

There are a whole bunch of ingredients for you to mix with your soy sauce.  Love how clean and neat the little pots are.  

I just put a bit of everything into my soy sauce.  Yummy!

The first time we went, we ordered the 5 soup base pot.  They add some alcoholic soup into the middle where the papaya and shrimps are then light it up!

Everyone loves the spicy soup base.  So, on our next visit, we just order a pot of the spicy soup~

Love how this place works with the app Eatigo, so we get a discount for booking on Eatigo.  I think it was 20% or 30%.  I can't remember.  After discount, it was under HK$800 for 4 girls.  Good deal for the experience.  Great service.  No one rushed us to eat faster, the place was nice and clean, food was fun and great. Good deal.
