Last Minute Valentine’s Day Nail Art
This year’s Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday. Most of us are probably not billionaires and have to work to make a living. So, there really is no time to get ready for a date. Luckily, there are always some office supplies that are good for doing simple nail art. That is, if you have some nail polish with you in the first place.
Polishes from left to right:
Sally Hansen Triple Strong Base Coat
Illamasqua - Purity
Saem Global Eco Red
ONl - DD Pop Nails #32
Seche Vite
This is mainly a dotting nail art. So, I don’t have to make sure the nails are perfectly painted along the cuticles. Even if I messed up a little, it won’t be too noticeable. To find a dotting tool in the office, I found a paper clip and took the silver part out and used the end as a dotting tool.
I don’t have any nail art brush with me, so I can’t paint a perfect heart with the brush that comes with the polish. So, I got some scotch tape, cut out a heart shape and used that as a stencil. It’s still not perfect, but definitely better than doing it free hand using the thick brush from the polish bottle.
Overall, very simple to do. The only difficult part is to not let your boss see you painting your nails at work. Haha.
