Yaletown French Festival - Vancouver, Canada
Whenever we can't think of something to do in Vancouver, we would look up Daily Hive to see if there are any events for the day. They talked about a French Festival at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Center. They were talking how it big and exciting it would be. So, we drove down to Yaletown to check it out.
Sure there were some people, some activities, and some stalls selling food.
The whole thing was pretty small. Took us less than 10 minutes to looked through everything. As for the food, they weren't very appealing. I'd rather save my calorie quota for something else.
We ended up going to the nearby water to chill and for some pictures instead.
I remember when Vancouver Buzz used to do a much better job at introducing the fun things that was happening in Vancouver. Ever since Daily Hive took over, the events they talk about turns out very misleading. Most of the time, it's not as fun as they try to make it seem.
Anyways, it was still nice to get out of the house. At least it gave us a motivation to get out of the house in the first place.
Roundhouse is at point k in Places Part 3 on the map below:
