Golden Marble Water Decal Nail Art with Gel Polish

When the water decal is very thin and soft, it gets very fragile with regular nail polish.  It always cracks and melts away when I use too much top coat to seal it in.  So, I tried using gel polish top coat instead.  The result is amazing.  I love how glossy it is and it gives the water decal a much more solid feel.  To add depth to the decal, I added some gold nail polish in between the 2 layers of gel polish I applied.  Makes me want to get more gel polish as it won't reacts with the water decal at all.

I hate the removal part of gel polish though.  So, I applied a peel off base coat underneath.  Hope the mani can come off on its own a couple days later.
