Day 4: Iconsiam - Bangkok, Thailand

A somwhat new mall in Bangkok, Iconsiam!  About a 15 minute car ride from Central World.  It was less than 100 Baht by taxi meter.  Good deal.  Taxi in Bangkok is pretty cheap, so we didn't bought taking other public transit.  Too hot outside and too crowded.  We felt like we were getting a heart attach each time we walk for more than 10 minutes outside.  We really need to exercise more and get a healthier body....Love this pretty mall.  

There is machine and a staff next to it to help visitor get a tourist membership card.  Using our passport, we got the discount card and a wifi account within the mall.  Their wifi is wicked fast.  Way faster than the wifi offered at our hotel, Siam@Siam Bangkok.

On the ground floor, there is a water market.  This reminds me of the outdoor market we went to in Hua Hin.  We had to pay an entrance fee to enter the Hua Hin Water Market....and they sell pretty much all crap in there...not to mention super hot.  Here at Iconsiam, it is free to enter, cool air conditioning and lots of cute little stalls lined up along the "river" immitating a water market.  Lots of food and crafts to buy here.  Why bother torturing yourself in outdoor local market and when there is Iconsiam?  I was never the type of kid that likes to "explore" and "experience" the world.  I really just want to stay clean, dry and comfortable and this is the place for me.

There is even a place for massage, but I like getting massing in a private and relaxing room...not in the public.  So, I didn't try their massage here.

Then on the 2nd floor, it's like any malls.  Lots of different brand names.

On each floor, there is an ourdoor garden thingy to overlook the pier.

Then a section of restaurants and desserts.

Got ourselves a couple of bracelets~
