Day 1: 55cm Beef Sushi at Goyonam - Hongdae, Seoul

Saw a picture of this 55cm beef sushi online and I just had to find out where it's from and try it for myself.  Found that it's from a restaurant Goyonam.  They have a couple outlets.  We went to the one in Hongdae.  Love staying at Hongdae, it has everything!.

The food isn't very cheap compared to other restaurants, but it's nice to try~ The pictures just look too good not to.

So we ordered the Goindol Galbi...whatever that means.  It's a smaller portion that we ordered, I think.  The real thing doesn't look as overwhelming as the picture.  Not much flavor, but still good.  Reminds me of the the Cantonese version of beef brisket and turnip in broth.

The sushi was good.  The beef is raw.  Very tender.  I still think it's a little too pricey.
