Pre-CNY in Nanshan - Shenzhen, China

The weather was getting warmer before Chinese New Year the trees lined along the river (See 11) at Zhongxin Road near the Shenzhen Bay Port was in full bloom.

A long path with just a few people on it.  Love to be away from the crowd.

The river is right next to the 宝能·all city mall (Shop 18).  It is a residential complex with a pretty big mall.  A nice one too, with upright toilet.  Each time I cross the border to China, I am on a mission to find malls with upright toilets.  Seriously, I cannot accept using the toilets that's just a hole on the floor.  Feels disgusting with germs everywhere when it flushes.

The floral path along the river was only found by accident.  We really wanted to get to Mr Walden Coffee (Eat 17).

It's a pretty chill coffee place.  Quiet and relaxing just the way I like it.  People in the area are probably pretty well off.  They just leave the iPhone 15 Pros laying around without a care.  Makes me feel safe to be on this side of Shenzhen.

Coffee taste very mild.  Not sour.  I find coffee in China most taste very mild, which I am not complaining.  Got a pistachio basque cheesecake as well.  Could not taste the pistachio at all and it's too runny.  I guess some people like it that way.

Really too runny for me.

Then headed to 宝能·all city mall (Shop 18) for some real food.  Came across a bakery.  Looking pretty good.

Daiso is pretty much in every mall.  Daiso always has various cross over branded characters products.  For something that sells so cheaply, did they really obtain the license to produce these products legally?

Love the Care Bears collection.

Got some real food at 臻品鲜粿·粿条世家 for some noodle.  Nothing special.  Just noodle.

Saw these really thin pancake/bread from A Gan Guo Kui 阿甘锅盔.

Got one with lamb filling.  Good.

Super thin but still manage to get lamb in it.

Then took the metro to QianHaiWan Station and walked 30 minutes to the Holland Flower Town 荷兰花卉小镇 (See 10).  It seemed like a short distance on the map, but took us 30 minutes to walk.  Anyways, it was an easy walk.

Finally arrived at their west side entrance.

It's really just a flower market.  Since it was just before Chinese New Year, there were many people there getting flowers to decorate their place for the holiday.

Ended the day at Raffles City (Shop 5) and eat at a pretty crappy Vietnamese restaurant.
