Day 3: Shirakawa Lane and Hanamikoji Street - Kyoto, Japan

Took the No. 11 bus that took us straight from Arashiyama to the Gion Shijo Station.  Love how easy it is to get around with the help of Google map.  The bus ride was about one hour.

Got some good rest and a nap on the bus before arriving.

Saw a chocolate specialty shop call Cacao Market (Eat 98) after getting off the bus. Really cute store selling drinks, cakes and ice cream.  Not cheap though.

Got ourselves a chocolate milk and a crumble cake.  Actually didn't enjoy the chocolate milk.  It has a special blend of chocolate giving it a perfume aroma.

Crumble cake was very dense, just the way I like.  Filled with berries and nuts.

Then we headed toward the Shirakawa area (See 73) that is just around the corner.

Quickly strolled through the Hanamikoji Street (See 74).  People who have more interest in the Japanese culture and history would enjoy.  We just quickly walk through without learning muhc.
