Cafe Hopping in Yeonnam and Ikseong Dong

3 cafes in a morning in Yeonnam Dong.  Super full from just drinking tea and eating scones/cupcakes.

Love staying in the Hongdae district - walking distance to Yeonnam Dong where a lot of the cafes are.  The walk to the area is relaxing too.

First cafe of the day - Cheong Su Dang (Eat 153).

There are 2 floors to the cafe.  The second floor is more open and brighter.

Love how it was like we were sitting outside but actually inside.  Away from all the mosquitoes.

Not cheap drinks, but they look pretty.  The ambience is nice.  Good for a few photoes~

Immediately after having at Chang Su Dang, we went across the street to NRparlour Coffee House (Eat 154) for some scones.

3rd cafe for breakfast is MintChoco World (Eat 155) in Yeonnam Dong.  Such cute little shop.

Quite a few mint chocolate option.  Was already full so I just got myself a mint chocolate cupcake.

Can't say it's amazing but it was ok.  Doesn't taste like toothpaste but minty enough.

Decided to head to Ikseong Dong and love how convenient it is to take a bus with Naver Map.

End up going to Jogyesa Temple (See 70).  There was some sort of festival and we just went in.

This reminds me of human centipede...

Really needed to go to the washroom and found a museum nearby - Gongpyeong Historic Sites Museum (See 71).

A pretty big museum and free entry.  A nice unexpected stop.

Walking distance to Insadong and Iksongdong from the museum.  A day full of walking.

Had early dinner at one of the many restaurants in Ikseongdong.

More walking around the area.  There is a street selling silverwear.

Had to walk off the calories from all the cakes and pasta.  Walkable to Kwangjang Market from Ikseongdong.

And from Kwangjang Market, we walked to Dongdaemun. 

Our feet and back were in pain, but we can't end the day without any shopping.

Headed to Mimiline (Buy 66) in Dongdaemun for some cheaply priced accessories.

Walls and walls of hair clips, necklaces, earrings etc.

Ended the day with some street food.  Shopping and eating is just too tiring.
