Shopping in Hongdae and Myeongdong - Fall 2024

It's not a real vacation to Seoul if no shopping is done. Dedicated a day of shopping in Seoul, mainly in the Hongdae and Myeongdong area.

But first of all, had to fill our stomach with some Korean pork soup at the Hongdae Sundae Soup/홍대순대국 (Eat 118). Don't know what's with this place, but we just have to come to the place at least once each time we visit Seoul

Good way to warm up our bodies in the morning.

Been bombarded with Tirtir make up and found there is a store in Hapjeong area, walking distance from Hongdae~ Their make up setting spray were all sold out. Too bad. Anyways, tried with their tester, it's not as amazing as what they show you on IG. It's not going to hold your make up if you sweat.

Stopped by for some cupcake at Cafe Mignon Hapjeong Branch (Eat 152).

Cupcake was alright. Lots of choices, but probably not something I would want a second time.

Then just headed to Myeongdong to see what's good to buy and to check out Wiggle Wiggle store. There are 2 in Myeongdong, we went to the one call Wiggle Wiggle Town (Buy 65)

Next stop - Olive Young! So many people, so much to buy. When you see so many people grabbing things off the shelves, it just makes you want to buy even more. And of course, it's much cheaper to buy in store than online.

Freebies for tourist in store.

Bought whole bunch of facial patches and makeup. Used them all and every single product was a good buy.

The streets of Myeongdong was no long as crowded as pre-covid, but it's picking up.

There is a cartoon street nearby (See 69). But really nothing much to see, not worth going unless already in the area. Even so, I won't go again haha.
