Chongqing Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges + Longshuixia One-Day Tour

Signed up to a 1 day tour on klook to Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges and Longshuixia. Thought it would be a nicer experience since it's on klook and probably will be with a group of foreigners.

The day started at 6am. The sky was still pitch black. Waited for the tour bus along with 20 or 30 other people that signed up for the day tour. The bus was going around the city to pick up more people. The experience -- horrible! The bus smelled so freaking bad! It's the food people were eating on the bus. Smelled rotten. I had to put on a N95 mask with perfumed sprayed on it. But I could still smell it. The bus was not well ventilated. The people, mostly mainlanders, are somewhat barbaric.

take around 5 hours to get to the Wulong Tianshen Three Bridges. Had a break after 2 hours or so where people go for a washroom break.

Another 2 hours later, it was lunch break. Lunch was at a hotel. And warned by the tour guide, the food isn't going to be any nice and fancy. He says it's edible, but just don't expect anything nice. He also warned us that we must eat, because it was going to be a hard day and we will need the energy to get through.

Not very edible to me. Can't really tell what's in the dishes. I can only tell that the wooden bowl holding the rice is moldy. And the chopsticks came out of the disgusting bathroom sink. Had to share a table with other strangers in the tour.

After another 1 hour drive, we were finally at Wulong.

First scenic area was the Tiansheng Three Bridges.

Then it was just walking nonstop. Tour guide said there is only 1 way out, which is to walk forward. No turning back. Bus has left. The only way to get home is to reach the exist in about 1.5 hours. I don't know how many steps we took and how many stairs we walked up and down.

Finally got to the exit. And warned by the tour guide earlier, not to get any food at the exit shops. The old ladies are known to be selling expired food, which was true. We were really hungry because we wouldn't eat the food at the lunch place, so we got a some chips. Turns out it was expired 6 months ago.

Food smelled horrible. Don't know how people can put it in their mouth.

Just when we thought we can just go back to the hotel, tour guide said the bus is not at the exit of Tiansheng Three Bridges. We had to take another local bus to Longshuixia and walk to the exit within 1.5 hour where the bus would be waiting.

It was not flat ground! Just stairs! Up and down! Wet and steep where there were waterfalls. Didn't help that one of us fractured her ankle earlier in the year and still hasn't fully recover.

Crying at this point.

By the time we were half way there, my hands and feet were feeling numb. I know I was going to black out. Luckily, we had a few slices of emergency bread just in case someone starves. Especially since I don't trust any food in Chongqing, I insisted we buy bread and bring along just in case.
