Xiahaoli and Longmenhao Old Street - Chongqing

Chongqing is not for anyone with weak legs. Everywhere we go there are stairs. Going to Xiahaoli and Longmenhao Old Street was no exception. Up and down the stairs all day.

Xiahaoli Old Street (See 5) turned into an IGable little town. Small little town but so many alleys and stairs.

Resting our legs in one of the many cafes in the area. Basically every restaurant and cafes are made for selfies.

Not cheap comparing to the prices in non touristy places, but good price comparing to Hong Kong.

Won't recommend this. These 3 little desserts thingy isn't very special and not even good for photos.

Love this matcha dessert though. Not that it taste divine, but good for pictures.

Various phrases on the walls of the area says it all. There are so many alleys but eventually you will make it to where you want to go.

Lunch at one of the many Chinese restaurant there. Honestly, I don't like any of the food I tried in Chongqing. The people are mostly quite loud, dirty and smoking everywhere.

Deep fried tofu. The only dish I felt was edible.

Oily and spicy and most of the things in this dish I felt like should be just seasoning and sides that I usually just pick out. No edible meat pieces that I am used to eating.

Again. Oily and spicy and nothing seemed edible.

Time for some expensive tea that's really just good for photo and not really to drink.

A tea place with smoky little river flowing through the long tables. Already can tell the place isn't about good food or drinks. Just for fun and photos.

This is a set for us to draw on the matcha latte.

The roof has a little scene for more photo opportunity.

Right next to Xiahaoli is Longmenhao Old Street (See 6). Another touristy place. Just lots of people with gifts shops that sells things that really doesn't have much use.
