Quick CNY Nail Art in the Office

Not much work to do before Chinese New Year in the office. Time for another quick manicure at work.  Everyone is on holiday and there is close to nothing to do in the office. So, I specially brought some nail polish to work to kill time.

From left to right:
Sally Hansen Triple Strong base coat
Nicole by OPI - Kim-pletely in love
ME - NA5155 Solid Gold
Saem Global Eco Red
Seche Vite top coat

Can't do anything too crazy as I don’t have any tools with me. So, I salvage whatever I can use to do my nails. For my index and ring finger, I dabbed on the red and gold using a plastic bag that my colleague carried her breakfast in. I just cut out a piece in the corner, scrunch it up then pick up the polish to dab on. To pick up the rhinestones, I use the end of a paper clip. As for the stripes, I just used the brush that came with the polish. They aren’t thin lines, so the original brush is good enough.

This was super easy to do. Completed in about 20 minutes. The hard part? Hoping the colleague sitting next to you won’t stab your back and tell your boss about how you paint your nails at work.

  1. I like the style combo a lot especially the nails with the stone decorations!
