Toys and Figures at Nipponbashi, Osaka Japan
I wanted to visit a maid cafe while my friend wanted to look for some action figures. This area is littered with anime related toys, manga, figures or anything anime related. It was a super boring place for me as I have no interest in Gundam or toys. I just wanted to go to a maid cafe and be served by a cute girl dressed up in her little maid costume. That sounds a little perverted, but it's nothing like that. I ended up not going because I was too full from eating at Kuromon market before I came to Nipponbashi.
The street was lined with toy stores.
This is Jungle Toy Store. A huge toy store with too much toys in my point of view.
My friend wanted me to help him find a figure in Japan as it's expensive in Hong Kong. I looked through shelves and shelves of figurines and couldn't find what he was looking for. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I gave up shortly.
No offense to toys lover, I just don't understand why people would spend hundreds of dollars on plastic toys??? They don't do anything! No function! They just sit there and collect dust. No value. Waste of space! So, why buy them? I don't get it.
I realized that you have to fill out a form writing down the code of the toy you want and hand this form to the staff and they will get the product for you. Understandable, as there are just too many different little figurines on display!
Jungle Toy Store is point Y in the map. There are a lot of other toy stores around it.
