Day 2: Taiwanese Breakst - Taipei, Taiwan
Second day into our Taipei trip, we planed to go o 華山市場 for breakfast. We aren't sure what they serve there, but it says they are famous online. We took a cab to this place only to find out there is a long line up going around the building to eat there. One thing I hate is lining up. I have plenty of chances in queuing up for everything in Hong Kong. I won't do it while I am travelling. No matter how good the food is, I don't think it's worth hours of waiting.
The line up is seriously ridiculous. It goes around the building. This is just part of the queue.
We looked around and no far down the street, there are other little restaurants that I feel are good enough. I really don't see the point in waiting in line. So, we crossed the street to get some quick breakfast.
Went to 艾搗蛋手工蛋餅 to get a egg/crepe/pancake thing. I don't know what it's called in English. Anyways, the pancake along with a drink is just NT$50. How can we not order one? The price is too good to pass.
A little crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. I love pancakes.
We looked across the street and there is another breakfast place call 永和豆漿. Without thinking, we quickly finished our pancake and have our 2nd round of breakfast at 永和豆漿. I feel the food here is a little bland. I don't know if it's just me though, as I saw the place was packed. So, I guess it's a popular taste around the area?
Got some dumplngs, buns and more pancake.
