Lafarge Lake - Coquitlam, Canada

Sky train opened up a new extension line that goes to Coquitlam.  Since I have no work and has nothing to do on that frozen day, I decided to take a trip on the new extension line.  From west Vancouver to Coquitlam, It took me about an hour to get there.  I just opened google map to see what's in Coquitlam and saw there's a Lafarge Lake.  Thought it would be nice to check it out.

The entire lake was frozen except for the part surround the fountain.  And all the ducks gathered around the non frozen part for a swim.

There were some crazy kids walking out to the middle of the lake.  Sure it's frozen, but it was just very thin ice.  Many parts around the iced lake has cracks and holes in it.  It was during school hours.  Skippers...I regret not skipping during my high school years though.  For experience as it's not something I can do now.  I can't just skip work when I don't feel like working.

There were people feeding ducks as well.  Though there are signs saying no feeding.
