Day 2: Korea BBQ at MyeongDong 명동황금목장黄金牧场 - South Korea

After the Jeonbuk Shuttle Bus took us back to Seoul, it was already around 7:30pm.  They dropped us off at City Hall and so, we just walk to Myeongdong from there.  For a 10 minute walk, it took us around 20 minutes....because google map was guiding me to the wrong direction....Our feet were still traumatized from all the walking throughout the day.  So, we quickly found a BBQ place to sit down and recharge Cho's protein needs.

No idea what's good and what's not.  I just know this place looks nice and clean.  Staffs are friendly and can speak decent English and Chinese.  That's all we needed.  Oh, and the fact that their menu is fool proof.  Lots of colorful pictures.  Just point point point!

We are on a strict protein diet.  Actually, not "we", but just Cho.  But since portions in Korea are quite big, I dare not order anything on my own knowing I probably won't finish it and would feel bad if I left if half uneaten.  Luckily, there are always lots of side dishes / banchan in Korea restaurants.  So, it won't be just meat meat meat for me.

Such a cute tofu~  Part of the many banchan.

Then came the meat!  We ordered pork only.  We were going to order their beef sashimi kind of thing, but they say to start the bbq, we needed to have 2 servings of pork.  I didn't think we couldn't finish 2 servings of pork and another plate of beef...so we had to give up the beef.

It doesn't look like a lot, but with all the little side dishes and the juicy oily meat, we got full quite fast.

Now that looks like a lot after we cut it to bite sizes.  Cho doesn't like wrapping her meat in lettuce.  She likes it just meat meat meat with just a bit of kimchi.  I had mine with lots of veggies and we were both stuffed.  The staffs there are so nice, helped us cooked the meat and taught us how to eat it probably with the fermented leaves.  I have no idea what kind of leaves they were...language barrier.  Just know it tasted great.
