Hat Painting at Angsana Lang Co - Da Nang, Vietnam

Usually, we won't join these type of indoor activities when we are on vacation.  It just seems kind of silly to stay indoor and paint when you are travelling when you can head out to the city to shop or to swim at the beach.  However, when we visited Angsana Lang Co, it was winter and their winter rains nonstop.  They have really strong big waves at the beach, so swimming there is out of the question.  It's just too dangerous to be out swimming in that weather condition.

It about $5US and they gave us a plain hat, and have everything ready for us to paint.  I guess this is more like an activity for kids.  But hey, we were bored and we like painting anyways.  With nothing else to do on a raining day, so why not paint a hat  The staff there hep us squeeze out the paint.  Totally a painting session for the lazy people. They even have a guy to help us blow dry our hat after painting.  

It was quite fun.  They gave us some examples for designs that we can copy from or just paint whatever we want.

I guess it won't be something we would wear, but I guess it would be a nice souvenir for ourselves to keep.
