Thu Quan Restaurant at Banyan Tree Lang Co - Da Nang, Vietnam
Staying at Angsana Lang Co in Vietnam, we could visit Banyan Tree just next door. It about a 6 min walk or a 2 minute ride on a buggie. It was after dinner and our room was being cleaned. With nowhere to go, since the resort is in the middle of nowhere, we took the buggie to Thu Quan in Banyan Tree. It was around 9pm and there was absolutely no one there. I understand that it was low season in January, but isn't it just a little too quiet? It seems more people stayed at Angsana than in Banyan Tree. Luckily, we stayed at Angsana. If not, it would just be too creepy to be in this resort all alone.
We didn't try the food other than the complementary nuts that came with the drinks. The place looks nice. I don't know if it is nice that we could hog the place to ourselves or bad that it's too quiet that it can be boring. The staffs said there are a lot of people during the summer. Really want to see what the place would be like in high season.
The drinks were nice. Some fruity cocktails. Fresh and not too sweet. Enough alcohol to help us relax.
Everywhere we go, it was just us at Banyan Tree, except for a few other staffs.
Thu Quan Restaurant is at point 12 on the map below:
