Sea-view Junior Pool Suite Twin at Angsana Lang Co - Da Nang, Vietnam
We had our room upgrade due to some complication. We moved to a suite with a mini private pool on the balcony. The best thing about the room is we have a microwave, which later turned out to be super useful.
This room is probably more than twice the size of the garden view room. There's even a little dining area, which we just use to put our junk on. Love that we have so much more space to spread our junk. For some reason, we had a hard to getting the TV in the living room to work. It was hard for the TV to get the signal from the remote.
A long sofa for me to spread more of my junk. Something Cho hates me doing.
A fruit bowl on the coffee table that's refilled daily with fresh fruit. This bowl of fruit turns out to be our savior later on when we were starving but didn't want to go out to the city.
The room is pretty dim. Good to stay relaxed. TV in the room works fine. We could view both Banyan Tree and Angsana restaurants menu on TV. We could also check our bill to see what we paid for. It was quite frustrating calculating exactly how much we paid as 1 USD equals to approximately 22710 VND. The numbers are just too high.
The bath tub in this room isn't as cute as the one in the smaller room, but it makes bubble bath a lot more enjoyable.
The bathroom has all the amenities we needed. All the basics like toothbrush, tooth paste, cotton pads and swab etc.
The drainage in the resort isn't very good. So, the water level gets pretty high and may flood the bath room. At first we thought it was clogged, so we spoke to the front desk about it. Turns out they said the entire property is like that as their drainage system isn't very well made. I'd suggest to turn off the water once every few minutes so it doesn't mess up the bath room. I hate walking on wet bath room floor.
There is a sliding door next to our beds leading to our mini pool.
We can see the main lobby from our room. We can also see the main pool and beach.
The pool is not heated though. It was about 17 degrees with strong wind blowing while I was there. The water was freezing cold. I was unable to get in.
There's also a little table at the balcony. It would be nice to enjoy room service there. Too bad it was constantly raining. No way could we have a nice breakfast in room there. Winter in Vietnam reminds me of of early Spring in Vancouver. Nonstop raining.
As for the beds, the only thing I need to complain about is that the pillows absolutely have no support. My neck got really sore the next day. Is it the resort's tactic? So, the guests would go to their spa? Just kidding.
This room has nicer slippers too.
Angsana Lang Co is at point 1 on the map below:
