Poke Bar - Honolulu, Hawaii

Poke bowl has been around for years, but it seems it's only been popular in the past couple years.  At least, it's only been popping up on my news feed in the past couple years only.  I love Japanese food, I love sashimi/sushi.  Poke bowl is just perfect! Quick and easy to wolf down on the go.  We went to Poke Bar which is conveniently located on the busy street of Honolulu.

It's really just like a salad bar.  We pick the base of our bowl, either rice or salad.

Then we pick the type of fish.  Salmon or Tuna or bowl.  Then just choose the other toppings.  For us, we asked for EVERYTHING on top and add extra avocado!

Lastly is to choose your sauce.  There were so many different sauce....I can't remember which one I picked though.  They seem all good.

A simple meal, but delicious!

Love how the place is bright and clean looking.  Also very affordable.
